In the world of collector cars nothing spells guaranteed appreciation value like documentation.

When it comes to documentation many enthusiasts tend to throw around phrases like “two / three owner” frequently.

However, VERY FEW can say they have legit documentation for such claims.

Even less can hardly begin to utter a term like “one owner or original first title”!!!

All things considered the moment for such an opportunity has come! This amazing one owner car has credentials to back it up!

There's a great deal that can be said about this special Mustang.

So let's jump right into it:

To start I stumbled across this car by word of mouth from a good friend sometime ago.

The story I got was so hard to believe that I decided to further investigate the claim.

What I found out was exactly what had been relayed to me.

A wonderful Mid Western family made an executive decision to part ways with a memento that had much sentimental value!

They went into great detail about the day granddad drove home his hallowed 67 Mustang.

It was actually purchased just a few blocks away from their residence at “Sherwood Ford” (badge still present).

He absolutely loved the car and refused to sell it!

However, a short time after that his employer afforded him a company car. So the Mustang basically sat in the garage “51 years”!

It would come to be driven on the weekends and for pleasure cruises.

Many years later his health had begun to decline.

They figured passing it along was the best way to go.

I was very fortunate to meet such good people and also acquire the car.

To sweeten the pot it was a heavily desired “RARE SPORTS SPRINT model” (71k actual miles)!

As with any classic there are highs and lows so I will try to give you my best impression of this Blue Oval!

Please take time to enjoy the videos and ask any question that you may have.

Once home I began inspecting the car to take even better stock of its body and paint.

There's no doubt that the factory original lacquer covering had received a midday makeover.

That being said the exterior is gorgeous and free from excessive defects.

Collectively the body has a mirror finish and shines radiantly at any given time of day!

The soft lemon chiffon paint is very respectable and delightful to look at.

I had always been a fan of traditional red, black and blue cars until I ran into this model.

You can't remove the car cover or get out of the driveway without much admiration!

By investing more time & effort I was able to determine it was mostly unmolested.

A true throwback “as the saying goes they're only original once”!

Maintenance records from the 60's-70's are still in the door jambs where service vendors would pen the next appointment (oil changes etc)!!!

All of the virgin body panels are cultured and uniform. To preserve their authenticity trivial coachwork has been performed.

The assembly specs and factory tooling guidelines seem to fall into Fords manufacturing designation.

The doors shut beautifully and the trunk is still aligned accurately. The patina that the car embodies is nothing short of amazing!

It is very easy to locate items such as factory trunk decals, Ford paint earmarks and stamped      assemblies.

This is not your typical classic car pieced together with aftermarket parts and put together for market consumption.

I'm sure the next lucky owner will be able to hold his head high while cruising.

Many attributes make the car a virtuous model (front to rear).

There's an elegant white vinyl top that protects the roof (excellent condition)!

Adding yet more appeal is a spectacular set of OEM rocker panel moldings.

Both bumpers are flawless and compliment the car wonderfully!

A new set of Scott Drake tail light bezels enhance the rear concave area.

The bright work, badges, emblems and fuel cap appointments are exemplary.

All of the windows, windshields and surrounding glass are clear / damage free.

At the end of the day it's the type of opportunity that only comes around once in a lifetime.

ORIGINAL, UNIQUE & CHERISHED!

The total picture & presentation are definitely   noteworthy!

LAST PEEK!

Since we have covered the bases regarding the exterior let's see what she has to offer inside!

This Ford was released with what was coined “standard interior”.

Although quaint in nature it still comes across opulent and refined.

The factory light parchment seats really work well with the canary flavored exterior.

The rear bench is also in great condition.

All of the upholstery is chaste and neat throughout the cockpit area.

Once inside you'll also find a perfect dash pad and an ensemble of factory gauges.

An original style loop pile carpet is laid in proper fashion with correct configuration.

The factory door panels have stood the test of time “new arm rest added”.

Remarkably the original headliner is free from any damage!

To top things off the factory radio jumps into action with a twist of the classical knobs.

This one is ready to be fully enjoyed!

Now once you say the word classic Mustang everyone wants to know “what's underneath the hood”!

NO TRUE PONY CAR CAN BE TRULY CONSIDERED A STALLION WITHOUT HAVING A FACTORY V/8!

Thankfully Ford did not rest on their laurels when this one left the plant.

This factory Sprint Mustang came equipped with the C-Code 289 power plant.

If you desire a classic car that is fun to drive, responsive and reliable “look no further”!

This block is strong and dialed in to perform.

Additional parts that make it reliable are as follows: original rebuilt FOMOCO 600 CFM carburetor, Autolite plugs, 7MM wires, battery, thermostat, water pump, fuel pump, voltage regulator, solenoid, etc.

A nice chrome Sprint air cleaner is in place for total Nostalgia!

This vintage Ford is a blast to drive & a total thrill to cruise,

TAKE A LISTEN!

A subtle growl trumpets out back by the aid of stock exhaust!

Tucked underneath each corner is a beautiful

15 inch magnum 500 wheel! Absolutely no curb rash!

Spank brand new raised white letter performance radials hug the metal!

SHE'S AN ALL AROUND GREAT VINTAGE PONY!

Here's yet more good news “this is a classic SUPER SOLID Mustang” with nice floors & frame rails. The trunk floor & torque boxes are just as impressive!

Inside the trunk area is clean with beautiful inner quarters.

If you have been waiting for the right moment to get in the game this vintage Ford should inspire you to get off the bench!
