I picked this up in September and have done nothing with it other than a quick inspection of the frame & birdcage and parts inventory. It's a project car; so assume that everything needs attention, but overall, it's a very solid and complete car. If I keep it, I'll build a restomod out of it one day, but if someone else wants it now and has $35K, it's yours. The Good:- VIN & trim tag (white/dark blue) both look original and not tampered with, and it has a clear Texas title.- It has some indicators that it was an original 365HP car, but the original block & heads are gone; so who really knows.- It has a 4-speed in the car, but I haven't crawled under the car to try to get the numbers.- All trim, interior and exterior, is there.- Dash looks good and comes with an extra passenger side dash pad- Birdcage looks very good. The windshield corners behind the dash shows just a little bit a scaly-looking rust, but nothing penetrating. A wire-wheel and some rust prevention treatment should be the extent of what's needed.- Frame is excellent; no rust that I can find.I'm going to list below anything that is missing, incorrect or in need of significant repair. If you don't see anything about it below, then it's good, best I can tell.- NOM (block casting #3789817) 327 dressed with 3844461 intake manifold and other bits and pieces that would be correct for a 365HP car- Driver-side rain gutter (both the rail and the shoe pieces) is very rusty and needs to be replaced. The passenger side has some rust that needs a repair, but I think it can be fixed without complete replacement.- 1-piece front end; so the car has obviously been tagged in the front in the past. It looks straight and installed well.- Radiator support is the fuelie style, despite the rest of the car looking more like a 365HP car. Probably replaced same time as front end.- Driver-side rear fender has been repaired sometime in the past, and the belt-line is pretty crooked. I don't think it needs a new fender; just needs a better body-man.- Frame overall is excellent, but for some reason, someone cut off the bottom portion of the two round exhaust pass-throughs in the transmission cross member. Unless you're going for originality, a functional repair would be easy for anyone who can weld.- Clock is the 65-67 style; clearly swapped out at some point in the past. 64-style clock is MIA.That's about it. It's a great restomod candidate, or if you wanted to make a driver out of it, you could get there with a body-on restoration. Dog not included.
