If you are looking for a time capsule example of Ford's finest then you have just found it.

The former keeper of this vehicle is a retired senior aircraft engineer at British Airways. who has recently and rather sadly had to return his drivers licence back to the DVLA owing to advancing years of 87!

This meticulous gentleman has taken fastidious care of this car over the years and it shows in every way. Garaged for all of its life and only used in fairest weather. it has visited the local village garage for servicing and MOTs routinely for the last twenty eight years and wanted for nothing.

It has covered 34. 00 miles from new.

We have letters from the garage owner of over 40 years to vouch for this.

Asides from the cars impeccable condition and like new appearance. what makes it even more remarkable are the period extras and add-ons that the engineer owner applied to the car during his tenure.

He has fabricated a walnut veneer lower dash board festooned with a variety of gauges and dials for temperature. pressure. tc etc- clearly a clue to his aeronautical activities- I am surprised there isn't an air speed indicator!. This work is all of the highest quality.

The Granada also features chrome fog lights. polished steel fire extinguisher. various period stickers (british airways. period car alarm. and pigeon breeders stickers!!)

There is also a plaque on the dash asking for passengers to remove their shoes!

All of these additions have been carefully installed so as to be removable should the next keeper wish- personally I think they capture the period perfectly and should remain.
