History.

On the 1-8-1980 this stunning Porsche 911 SC was delivered brand new to its first lucky owner. Since then it has been maintained to a exceptional standard which is why it still remains in such beautiful original condition. She is all matching numbers which adds to its authenticity. value and desirability to collectors. With only 88k miles from new it's rare to find such a low mileage SC. Throughout. this little 911 is all original and has not been messed with. A lot of SC models have been raced and badly modified so it's rare to find one as sweet as this one. She is currently on southern Irish plates but it was previously a UK reg car so you can change it straight back to UK reg with no fee to pay. its only just filling in a simple form at the dvla. The previous UK reg was a cherished number and will still be available to put back on.

Body.

Finished in the iconic Guards red. the bodywork is absolutely flawless with no rust and no bubbles. nbsp; It's never had any accident damage. She literally sparkles in the sunlight. What's lovely about this SC is that she has all the chrome door frames and window trims etc. this is the style everyone wants on a 911 now. even though she is 1980 its actually a design evocative of that 1970's cool retro Porsche era. Also the single drivers mirror adds to the whole 70's look of the car. you just got to love it! Structurally she is solid and rust free. there has never been any welding done to it. and underneath she is rock solid and all original.

Interior.

The interior is a special factory order. it's the red and black genuine soft leather that is in fantastic condition. the door cards are also genuine red leather. This is rare as most 911's of this era would have had the standard pasha or tweed fabric etc. all carpets are excellent too. All the instruments operate as they should which is nice. there is nothing worse than all broken gauges which is so common among these cars. All the knobs and switches work and all the electric windows and all gadgets work as they should.

This 911 drives like an absolute dream. as you would expect from a car with only 88k miles. I just drove it over 500 miles on a road trip. and it never skipped a beat. it was a joy to drive. The engine runs sweet and has great oil pressure. there is no oil leaking either. All the oil pipes and thermostat where just renewed which is an expensive part. You won't have to worry about rusty heat exchangers either and frozen feet because she has been fitted with a brand new full stainless steel exhaust system. also a very expensive part £2500.   She is surprisingly powerful and has lots of torque. The brakes have excellent stopping power which is rare on these cars. there is 993 brembo 4 piston calipers on the front. The 915 gearbox is working absolutely perfect. it has smooth gear change with no crunching gears.

Wheels/tyres

Deep dish Fuchs 9" and 8" with excellent tyres. It's amazing to see the condition of these rims. They are polished to perfection!

Overview

This is a properly sorted 911. she is not one of the typical Dogs you see out there. and has got to be one of the best SC's available in the UK. Visually she is one of the best looking SC's I've ever seen. all the early chrome styling cues and the polished Fuchs really make her look different. there is just something special about her. This is one car you can buy that doesn't need a single thing done to it. For most guys a Porsche 911 is the realisation of a boyhood dream. That poster on your bedroom wall. Unfortunately for many guys out there they don't realise how much junk is on offer. too many guys have fulfilled their lifelong dream of getting a 911 only to have that dream destroyed when they realise they have bought a car with a list of problems like this.
