1966 FORD CORTINA MK1 GT for sale

This is the Mark1 Ford Cortina 1500 GT. it was first registered on the 18th April 1966 and the last tax disc was 31st March 1992. The mileage showing on the clock is 44350. but actual mileage would be 144350.   We have the original registration document and there has been 2 owners registered. but from the same family and same address (possibly father & son).

The car comes with:-  Original owner's manuals. original purchase invoice. most of the MOT's from 1971.   There is quite a substantial amount of service history and maintenance receipts; there are also 2 books which both owners seemed to have logged  fuel and consumables amongst other things and makes for a very interesting read.

We have fitted a new battery and fuel pump to get the vehicle running and drivable.   The vehicle does not have an MOT. but we did put it through one as it stood. so that we could give anyone interested a bit of an idea as to what sort of project they were taking on; also the generator is not charging properly.

We have the MOT failure sheets and will email them to anyone who asks. also we will try to answer any questions or send pictures.

I beleive this car has been broken down for spares by CAR SOS, a program were they restored a mk1 2 door gt and they used this car as spare parts. REAL SHAME
