                                                         1930 Ford Model AA Fire TruckYes, as unbelievable as it may seem, this truck has been driven 1,501 original miles since new! The Ford was used by an industrial fire brigade for many years at the Cressona Aluminum Plant in Cressona, Pennsylvania. It is equipped with a small pump, and it pulled a trailer containing fire fighting equipment (the trailer is no longer available). The truck has been garaged and maintained indoors since new! Beautifully restored in the early 1990s by William Kline, now retired, former owner of Kline Brothers Auto Body Shop in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, the Ford fire truck still presents very well! Mr. Kline drove the truck sparingly in local parades since acquiring it in the 1980s. This Ford fire truck has been on display for many years at the Schuylkill Historical Fire Society Museum in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, where Mr. Kline served as Vice-President. Shenandoah is located in Eastern Pennsylvania, not far from Interstates 78, 80, and 81. The truck is being sold with a clean Pennsylvania title. The truck was occasionally driven in local parades and was always a crowd-pleaser! This truck can be inspected at the fire museum at any time by calling Mike at 570-617-2376. The truck has one minor paint blemish on the left front fender from a scrape (see photo). The truck comes equipped with a working red warning light, a search light, and a hand-cranked siren. All vintage fire-fighting equipment currently on the vehicle are included with the sale.
