Terms of Sale Overview

Payment MethodsCash (in person), certified check, bank transfers, or 3rd-party financing. All funds must be in US dollars only. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid. Call us for more information. DepositThe successful high bidder must sign our Sales Order and submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Payment of Balance DueThe buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed and cleared before delivery or pickup of the vehicle. Additional Fees and TaxesAll transactions are subject to fees, dealers included.  Dealer prep fee is $179 which includes the costs of a final run through our top-flight mechanical shop and detailing. Documentation fee is $328 and applies to all transactions.  PennDOT and notary fees for title, registration, and temp tags vary depending upon your particular circumstances.  All PA sales are subject to PA State inspection fee and Sales Taxes. Out of state buyers are responsible to pay fees for their own State, County and City taxes and fees for the State that the vehicle will ultimately be registered.

 

ShippingThe buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.  We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company - call us at 610-250-5600 for more information. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full and cleared payment must be received before the vehicle is released to the shipping company.

 

Buyer's InspectionEvery effort has been made to accurately and fairly describe this vehicle to you, however please be advised that all used vehicles will have typical scratches and dings inherent for their year and mechanical parts are subject to fail from normal usage.  Highline Imports welcomes and recommends any buyer's third party pre-purchase inspection(s).  If you plan to have a buyers inspection, please contact us to make arrangements PRIOR to the end of the auction.  You are not bidding on an "option" to purchase the Vehicle, but by bidding you are agreeing to purchase the Vehicle AS IT IS.  Buyer is responsible for any third party inspection charges and fees.  In the event of a discrepancy between the text description(s) and photographs, photographs rule...what you see is what you get...we will photograph any and all accessories included (such as books, keys, mats, navigation discs, etc.). Actual vehicle mileage may vary due to test drives, or other nominal vehicle usage.  All vehicles are sold with a spare wheel and tire that fit the vehicle, however may not be the original spare that was sold with the vehicle when new.

We reserve the right to cancel all bids and end an auction early should the vehicle no longer be available for sale.  All of our cars are available to be purchased outside the eBay auction process by buyers who contact us directly, and in the event that we take a deposit from such a buyer, we reserve the right to void the sale and return any deposit to an eBay high bidder or buy-it-now buyer.   

Bid RetractionsBid retractions are not allowed nor will be recognized within 12 hours of auctions end.  Seller will not be obligated to sell in the event of a late retraction.

 

Negative Feedback BiddersWhile we allow bidding from negative feedback bidders, we reserve the right to cancel bids from buyers, who in our opinion do not appear to be conducting themselves honestly on eBay.  New bidders with zero feedback rating should email us or call us prior to bidding.

 

Successful BidderThe winning bidder will be contacted via email after the auction closes and he/she must contact Highline Imports within 24 hours to remit their deposit, sign a Sales Order, and proceed with payment and vehicle pickup/delivery arrangements.  Feedback will be exchanged upon delivery of the vehicle.

 

Non-Paying BidderIf the signed Sales Order and deposit are not received within 24 hours of the close of auction or if the balance is not paid in full within 5 days following the close of auction, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell the vehicle to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer.
