This is my 1971 series 3 etype with the mighty 5.3 litre v12 engine.I have owned the car for the last 6 years and during my time have carried the following work:-New headliningRestoration of rear sub-frameNew shock absorbers front and rearElectronic ignition New fuel tankRebuild of carburettors New tyres all round.The car drives extremely well and during my ownership it has been kept garaged, cosseted and whenever work has been needed it has been done.The car is showing 35,500 miles from new which I believe is genuine, I have a history file with a stack of previous invoices, paperwork, old mot's and even the original green card registration. Both keys, original owners handbook and plastic wallet are present.The exterior is in great condition with no corrosion or rust spots, the paint retains a deep shine and all the chrome is in good shape.Internally it is in great order, the seats are free of any rips or tears although there is some aged related patina. The dashboard and switchgear present well and the original Motorola radio still works!“Alfred” as we call the car is ready for his next owner and should provide years of fun.I am a genuine seller and happy to answer any questions.Please no PayPal and a £500 deposit within 48 hrs of the auction ending.

I have recently had all the carburettors balanced by Nigel Allen at NBA Sportscars in Dunsfold, in the past they have looked after all the Top Gear cars. Nigel is an experienced and very competent mechanic and his view is that this is one of the nicest driving etypes he has been in.
