I am sadly selling my 1987 Porsche 911 930 Convertible Supersport (SSE).   Finished in a very classy colour scheme of grand prix white with metropole white leather with blue piping and is still in fabulous condition throughout.   The sale has been forced due to our massively over-budget new kitchen and bathroom project.

Very low mileage with a big box of receipts and MOTs to confirm the mileage including a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity detailing the full original spec.   This is a fabulous car in great condition. that starts first time every time and has a lovely patina.   MOT till April and Tax till June and serviced 3000 miles ago. New clutch in 2012.

The 911 Carrera Supersport. known also as the Carrera SSE or Turbo-Look (M471) was introduced in 1984 initially in coupe form only. The Turbo-Look included the Turbo's wide body. spoilers. suspension. four-piston fixed calipers. 16-inch forged alloy rims and low profile tyres and it was effectively a Turbo without a Turbo!

The Turbo-Look Cabriolet was introduced in 1985 and shared the same engine output and performance figures as the standard Cabriolet but it was offered at the substantially higher price of £38. 00 when new. about 25 per cent more expensive than the narrow-bodied version. In October 1986. the venerable 915 gearbox was replaced by the stronger G50 unit which remained until the final model in 1989.

The 911 has just turned 50 years of age and many variants have enjoyed a substantial increase in value due to their rarity. So whilst many RS variants have stolen the limelight recently. it may come as a surprise that reputedly just 75 RHD Turbo look cabriolets like this were produced which also makes this one of the rarest 911s of all.

This highly usable convertible 911 is a genuine rarity which will guarantee it to be a shrewd investment for the future.
