Audi Quattro Turbo Coupe 250hp AMAZING CONDITION for sale
Current customer rating: (461 votes ) based onThis is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a very limited number vehicle. This vehicle was taken off the production line as a standard Quattro Turbo and given to a team of men led by the Audi Rally Team Manager 'WALTER TRESER' and he put some touches on the car to raise the HP up to 250hp which for the time in the 80's was a very respectable output for a vehicle.
The European market has many companies specialising in customising cars and they will take a good basic model and turn it into a head turning flying machine. Walter Treser. the former Audi rally team manager. did exactly that with many Audi models but none with the pedigree of the Quattro turbo coupe.
This particular 1987 Treser converted car is in fact the very powerful and quick Quattro Coupe and it has completed 79. 00ish miles (with a new clock at 60. 00 miles) from new and has been superbly restored. It has a very good service history including bills for over £12. 00. a lot of MOT certificates. various receipts and bills for work completed and various articles on the Quattro. It looks stunning in its pearl white metalic paint with red leather interior and it has also had a full stainless exhaust system fitted along with a set of stunning 17" alloy wheels.
This is surely one of the best examples of this legendary super car which dragged the whole concept of four-wheel drive out of the dark ages and stormed its way to the World Rally Championship in the process.
We have owned this vehicle for 13 years in which time it has covered very little mileage and has been dry stored in a 'carcoon' type bubble. We have given the car periodic runs and has been MOT'd a few times in that time. It has now had a full check over and service and has just flown through the MOT with flying colours and the underside of the car canopy be described as perfect with NO signs of corrosion at all and you are welcome to challenge me and find some.
The pictures show a few small spots where rust has bubbled the paint slightly in the expected areas. Bu this is a small job to sort out and we have some paint already mixed for the car to do it. unfortunately we have our hands full with ongoing restoration vehicles and don't have the time to carry out the necessary touch in work.
All in all it is a fantastic example of an ageing classic which deserves to be used more than we have the time for and is certainly only going one way in value. If your interested in the vehicle please come down and have a look at the vehicle. We have hydraulic ramps for a good look at the car and have nothing to hide on the car.
