2007 Chrysler SRT8 Wagon

This car was purchased by the Byrnes Motor Trust in 2007, used for 3 years then for fun, the car was sent to Pedders Suspension and underwent a major upgrade, shocks, lowered and sway bars all changed to make the car ready for the major upgrades underway.

The car is fitted with MHT Forged wheels 20 x 9.5 front and 20 x 11 fitted with s 315 on rear. This resulted in tyres rubbing and major body fabrications to doors and rear guards where substantially re fabricated with steel to provide a factory type look.

The engine fitted is a Harrington stroked 6.1 litter out to 7.0 litres , 426 cubs , stage 4 heads , ARP studs , hi lift Cam upgraded timing chain and cover and Balancer .

Fitted with SHR Performace transmission ( just rebuilt ) Performance torque converter 

fitted with Mopar Getrag rear end with Quaife LSD and 1,000 HP rated Quaife axles and hubs .

On top of that sits supercharger , that assist the engine to producing 820HP and over 620HP at rear wheels and over 820 Newton metres of torque .

supercharger HTV2300 with water to air intercooler and 17%overdrive.

high flow 3 inch exhaust , ceramic coated headers , , custom alloy radiator , braided lines throughout , custom braided fuel lines ro suit high flow 850 hp engine requirements

The car was metalic black with black trim from new , when fabricating modification to front splitter / air dam , rear doors , rear guards it was decided to repaint the car in solid black , colour Rolls Royce Masons Black , car was de badged .

This car gets so many looks as people wonder what it is . open the doors and you will see that it has been retirmed in red leather .

It takes a bit of used to getting it off the line fast , Punch , lift , squeeze , full Oh wow .

the 100kph to 200kph is jaw dropping fast , you can hear and feel the wheels spin at 160Kph and again at 200kph hear the chirp as it races past 250kph . Ive driven to 285 and lifted of as it was still accelerating. On the Dyno , as the power ban was tappering off it was clocking 315KPH 

faults or room for improvement .

1 small chip on rear door , one paint blister on rear guard . The Car was pre  blue tooth and i would fit a later model Chrysler radio with blue tooth and perfect for your Spotify.

a professional detail of under bonnet as alloy is dull , but spend two days and its show quality .

hood lining has a few marks .

what i would do if i was re entering into car shows , $1000 in paint , then ceramic clear coating to keep it looking amazing  , upgrade radio , fit xenon headlights  replace headlining with starlight headlining
