About this vehicleThis 1962 Chevrolet Impala is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows.Vehicle Details

Nice original survivor 1962 Impala 409 Sports coupe time capsule. It's of the 380 horsepower flavor, and of course it's got a Muncie 4 speed close ratio. This car was ordered to street/drag race with zero options except for the 409. No power brakes, steering or windows. Why you would order it this way is beyond me, but I'm thinking the guy wanted a “family car” he could take to the drag strip on the weekends, or a factory sleeper, or just didn't have the money for the extra options. Red on red with a white top. One repaint since new. Interior is 100% original with no wear on seats or carpet or even the pedals, speaking to the limited amount of miles this car was driven. Rust free Oklahoma car it's whole life. I posted pictures of the underneath where they usually rust out to prove it. I can email or text over any videos you may request as well. I'm the 3rd owner, and all 3 in Oklahoma, where we don't have to salt the roads. Super low original miles. Sat in a museum for decades. When I pulled it out, I fogged the cylinders, changed all the fluids out, greased every cert, replaced the entire fuel system, ignition system, brakes, single belt, all hoses, exhaust and the 1981 date coded tires with new Coker wide whites. I wanted to make it safe enough for my young family to go cruising. Bump the key, and it roars to life due to the new pertronix magnet that replaced the points and condenser inside the original distributor. What a great and unique sound! Trans is very tight. No squeaks or rattles going down the road, even though it's a chevy, also exposing those low miles. It doesn't leak a drop on the floor, but in one of my pictures, there is some oil I spilled on the garage floor while changing that canister filter…. Also, I have the correct fender skirts and they are painted the correct Roman red. I don't think they were ever on the car, though, as they are wrapped up and still perfect. Call, text or email. I prefer text, as I'm a teacher and can respond in between classes. I will consider a partial, all the way to a full trade. Just message me and let me know what you have. 4zero52zero31316 cell. Also attached new appraisal from a reputable restoration shop that my bank uses. I have blacked out my name and address but that's it.
