Chevy Corvette 350

TH400 Automatic Transmission

I am selling my 72 Corvette I have owned for the last nine years. In these nine years I have done a lot of work to the car and only put about 100 miles on the car.  I bought the car as a collector not a daily driver.

Below are the items I have replace

Replaced Transmission pan, gasket, filter and fluid

Replaced oil pan, gasket and filter with chrome pan

New Edelbrock Carburetor AVS2

Pro FLO Air Cleaner

Timing Chain

Chrome Pulley & Chrome Balancer

New Belts

New Gas Tank

New Chrome Alternator

New Chrome Water Pump

New Radiator with Hoses

New Power Steering Pump Chrome

New Power Steering Pump Hoses

New Front Calipers, Pads and Rotors

New Chrome Valve Covers

Polished Intake Manifold by Power Plus

New Dash Pad / A Pillars and Door Sills

New Front and Rear Emblems

New Fuel Line from Carb to Pump

Replace sway bar links

Replaced 80s cassette deck back to the original stereo

There are other small minor things I have replace as well and I do have receipts for all the items I bought.

The good- The undercarriage is clean and very little rust if any for its age.  The car runs and drives and would not take to much work to get to be a solid running car. The engine is original with matching numbers. Transmission is original. This car is an investment and they keep going up in value. The power windows work.  The headlights, tail lights, turn signals all work.  The radio works.  Clean Title

The not so good – The intake manifold has to be removed because the rear seal has a leak where it meets the engine block.  The hood does not close with current air cleaner due to the larger carb.  This can be a easy fix with a low profile air element. The body overall is straight and clean but on the rear deck there are two fiberglass cracks measuring about 4" nothing major for its age . The vacuum systems needs a overhaul because the headlights do not raise or lower. You can still use them by cranking them manually.  If you don't want to tackle the vacuum system they do make an electric kit for the headlights to raise and lower them.  Over the years someone removed the spare tire carrier so it does not have a spare.
