Welcome to our listing for this rare and desirable 80's Ford which is a 1984 Granada 2.8 V6 Lombard Rally support vehicle in the very famous period correct livery. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a genuine Ford Granada Estate with an excellent body and underside with little sign of rust. The vehicle started life off as a 2.8 V6 GL automatic which was transformed for an event in 2020 by Ford enthusiasts to a very high standard copying a Rothman's Rally support vehicle of the 1980's going to great lengths to achieve this, sadly the event was cancelled due to the pandemic and the Granada stored away.

The engine and gearbox are very good and it drives superbly as you can imagine, it has a current valid UK mot until 25th March 2022. As you can see in the pictures the car has been done to such a standard that it looks like it has always been this way which is a credit to the people that converted it a couple of years ago. It has Excellent Minilite alloys all round with chunky rally spec tyres all terrain tyres with a spare in the boot, and also a set of knobbly more off road rally tyres on the roof to change over if needed, these also look great on top of the robust rally spec roof rack.

This 2.8 V6 engine is sweet and runs well which is a testament to how good these engines really were and shows well this one has been maintained for nearly 40 years of its life! The gearbox goes up and down smoothly for its age and is a well knitted piece of engineering along with the engine.

The body work is in excellent condition and has no signs of rust or rot at all, the livery is so iconic it would generate plenty of interest out and about and in the classic car shows along with any historical rally's or Fast Ford meets!

To summarise the car would make a great addition to any classic Ford collection or the starter in your Ford collection, this would benefit any classic car show, vintage or historical rallies and any other Ford meetings! The car is a great investment opportunity and will only increase in value as the years roll by. The car would also be excellent for any TV work or as an advertising vehicle.
