This is a very lovely very late 3. 0 CSi pillarless coupe. and has the further rarity being one of only 207 RHD manufactured.
It was built in October 1975. after the introduction of the new 6 series in Europe. and was the second last to leave the assembly line.
Originally exported to Hong Kong. it came with factory fitted sunroof. air conditioning. 6 series BBS alloys and an electric door mirror as extras.
It was subject to a comprehensive and total restoration in 1987. which was carried out by H. R. Owen. who were Rolls Royce dealers in Hong Kong.
It returned in 1989 with its owner. who commisioned ACE engineering. and BMW Racing-BM Sport to rebuild the engine to Alpina Specification.
At the same time a close ratio Getrag gearbox. Limited slip Diff. Bilstein Shocks. and various further upgrades were carried out at a significant cost. The result was approximately 265 bhp. far better then the standard 200bhp ( probably closer to 180 in practice ). This equated to 0-100mph in 13. 9 seconds. 0-60mph in around 6 seconds and a maximum of 153mph.

Since the restoration in hong kong further changes include:
The 6 series wheels have been replaced with the more correct period Alpinas
The front spoiler has been removed.
The engine was rebuilt with a hotter cam. gas flowed head. a big bore. free flow stainless steel sports exhaust.
The suspension was lowered and upgraded.

So where are we now?
Since I have owned it. I have replaced the outer sills. repaired any corrosion on the inner sills. and done some minor paint repairs to the lower half. It is now in superb order. ready to use and enjoy.
The car drives fantastically well. with the subtle modifications really enhancing the car.
The paint has a few micro blisters. and the odd imperfection. but this is a rust free car. and it looks gorgeous.
The interior is in lovely condition. the leather looking almost new. but with the drivers seat showing a few cracks in places.
The wood has a few places where the lacquer has lifted. easily remedied. but overall is in great shape.
Please come and view and test drive. the pictures tell an honest story. please check out the link for a comprehensive overview.

The car comes with a long MOT. a massive file of paperwork including inches of bills and pictures from the restoration.
I believe there isn't a better one to be had in the UK at the moment for this price. but please do come and see for yourself.
With CSLs in similar condition fetching over 50k. I believe this car represents an excellent long term investment. but the real pleasure will be in driving it!
I should add tha the air conditioning will need charging. and the electric mirror is also not functioning.
Other then that it has no known issues or faults at all.
I am selling this to fund quite a special CSi with an M5 engine. probably a mistake!
