First.  This is not an auction. The price is fixed. I have the car priced drastically undervalued because I had to store it on a lot where I can't maintain or clean. It was sold at $3500 already, but I lost the sale due to timing because I was without power from hurricane Ida. So please don't try to haggle.

This is a 1959 Edsel Corsair, 2 door. Less than 2500 of these rolled off the line that year. This was one of the early cars off the line. This is what I have done with the car:

Rebuilt transmission, water pump and starter. New radiator. New springs, shocks and bushings on rear suspension. New gas tank and gauge. Three inch Coker white walls that cost $1,800. Fresh tread, as I only put about 200 miles on the car. New dual exhaust with glass packs. Went through a complete mechanical overhaul, including brakes. Engine has low compression but can do 75MPH on highway with ease. Mileage likely not correct. It also comes with a second engine taken apart and ready to be machined. Stainless trim is 99% clean with one small ding above driver's windshield. Horse collar has a small break. It needs flat glass on both sides and interior. It has all headliner rails and seat springs reasonable. Windshield was repaired, but shows its cracks. Rear window, which is most important, is clean. There is some rust through in the lower corner of the doors and floor pan. The trunk is clean. It also needs new interior. I have the templates. Needs a new master cylinder, ignition coil and windshield wiper motor. Also, a new battery. Otherwise, she ran as well as can be expected when I was driving it . Mileage listed is what I put on. Car and title stays until payment is cleared.
