This Ford Escort Mark lV XR3i Cabriolet was supplied new in 1990 by Polar Motor Company, the official Ford dealer in York, to a local private owner who kept the car for six years until 1996 when it was acquired by another private owner in York.

This second owner kept the car for 10 years until he sold the car in 2006 to a classic car enthusiast in Leeds. This third owner has owned the car from then until today, a total of 15 years and he has maintained it without regard to expense. It is now for sale only to to this owner emigrating.

The excellent service history file contains the current V5, a previous V5 along with other DVLA paperwork and the original stamped service book which together show the total ownership history. It also contains the current MOT certificate whch runs until October, a series of 25 previous MOT certificates which show that the recorded mileage of 75045 is correct.

This car is in excellent condition and the new owner will be proud to take it to any classic car show.
