Nice old wagon that I recently imported from Pecos, Texas. Being a desert car, its incredibly solid with very little/no rust. The body is incredibly straight with one or two tiny dings. The car had wood effect panelling and everyone who has seen it has said they would keep the faded original paint and just re-apply the wood effect film. The chrome is all good and it has a cool surf wagon original roof rack. The engine is a 307 Oldsmobile with a 200r4 (overdrive) gearbox. The gearbox is dual pattern so you can fit a Chevy engine if you wanted some more power. The engine originally had a computer controlled quadrajet. This has been removed but all the parts come with the car and the wiring is still there. This was removed for a 600 holley as the computer controlled system was playing up - it had about 10 miles of vacuum hoses etc etc. I have had the engine running and it run good with no knocks or bangs. There is a leak from a core plug but I have a new core plug set to go with it. The holley carb was leaking fuel so I have taken it off and replaced the part that was leaking but have not refitted the carb yet so the car does not currently run. I have had it running and have moved it in and out of my workshop under its own steam. I have a mild cam to go with it and the engine is pretty dirty, so might be worth pulling the engine, doing the core plugs and putting the cam in at the same time. I also have lots of servicing parts to go with the car. Car and interior is really sun-bleached and needs a decent amount of work. The front seat will need recovering, the dash is cracked but I have a cover for it. It will also require a new headlining. I'm sure you have got the jist that its a project and will need work and a proper check over but its a very solid original car.I have all the US paperwork and the NOVA for you to register the car. It is a project and its priced fairly. I am asking what it owes me and these car are getting expensive in the US now.You need to come and have a look if you are interested. I am gutted to be selling it but i'm not getting anywhere with it and I have other cars that need my attention.Any questions, just give me a call! - Mark 07708 513055
