1972 Chevy Corvette 350

TH400 Automatic Transmission

I am selling my 72 Corvette that I have owned for the last nine years. In these nine years I have done a lot of work to the car and probably onlyput about 100 miles on the car. Below are the items I have replaced

·       Replaced Transmission pan, gasket, filter and fluid

·       Replaced oil pan and gasket with chrome pan

·       New Edelbrock Carburetor AVS2

·       Pro FLO Air Cleaner

·       Timing Chain

·       Chrome Pulley & Chrome Balancer

·       New belts

·       New Chrome Alternator

·       New Chrome Water Pump

·       New radiator with hoses

·       New Power Steering Pump Chrome

·       New Power Steering Pump Hoses

·       New Front Calipers, Pads and Rotors

·       New Chrome Valve Covers

·       Polished Intake Manifold by Power Plus

·       New Dash Pad

·       New Front and Rear Emblems

·       New Fuel Line from Carb to Pump

·       Replace sway bar links

·       Replaced 80s cassette deck back to the original stereo

There are other small minor things I have replace as welland I do have receipts for all the items I bought.

The good- The undercarriage is clean and very little rust ifany for its age.  The car runs and drivesand would not take to much work to get to be a solid running car. The engine isoriginal with matching numbers. Transmission is original. The paint job was done by previous owner and its a flat black.

The bad – The intake manifold has to be removed because the rearseal has a leak where it meets the engine block.  The hood does not close with air cleaner dueto the larger carb.  This can be easilyfix with a LT1 / big block hood purchase. The body overall is straight and clean but onthe rear deck there are a few fiberglass cracks. I was going to have them fixedwhen the car got painted but never got that far on this project.  Over the years someone removed the spare tirecarrier so it does not have a spare. The vacuum systems needs a overhaulbecause the headlights do not raise or lower. If you don't want to tackle the vacuum system they do make an electrickit for the headlights.  Other than the years I owned the car I don't know much history about it.

Car is sold as is and I need to get it sold before I move out state by the end of the year.
