1980 Range Rover 2 Door U.K. RHD carOriginally a V8 car in Davos white it has been fitted with a 6 cyl York diesel from probably from a Ford A series truck and painted dark green in the past It does run and drive although it's a pain to start and will now need the clutch bleeding and fuel tank repairing if you want to drive it as is… most will want to put it back to standard I guess anyway. The good news is that the chassis or bulkhead hasn't been cut to fit the engine and it still has its original 4 speed long stick gearbox. Interior is complete with the dash and clocks in good condition. The seats will want recovering although the rear isn't bad and the headlining has the usual RRC sagging issue. The bodyshell will need new sills and some other welding but on the whole isn't bad with the door and screen posts good and the rear body x member sound. Even the spare wheel well and rear arch tubs seem ok which is a rarity in these. Chassis seems mostly ok although at the rear there is signs of separation At very back seams. Panel wise it's fairly straight given what it is - roof is good, wings are all fair and the bonnet although scabby is sound with no holes. Top tailgate frame is shot as per most range rovers!Early grill and early type bumper ends are present and it also has the correct for year lamps front and rear.Not a 5 minute resto by any means but given the values of 2 Door range Rovers it's certainly worth the effort. Current V5 logbook present in my name and the original vin tag is on the car. Any questions please ask, I have some more photos that I can forward to anyone seriously interested I have a couple of really good guys who can transport the car anywhere in the U.K. if required- ask me for a quote if you would like to use this service.Cash on collection please from near Evesham , Worcestershire (or cleared bank transfer payment)
