PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO READ THIS AD FULLY!!!!!!!****PLEASE READ THE WHOLE AD***********Please look at all  24 photos posted on this ad and read the full description.DO NOT BID,IF YOU CAN NOT PAY FOR THE ITEM,PLEASE!*** 10 DAY AUCTION******         **** IMPORTANT*****FULL Balance to be paid by Bank wire transfer ONLY ,Or by cash in hand,only if you come pick it up in person.*****Full Payment Must be paid in FULL within 7 days of sale date.*****Once paid for,it will need to be picked up within 30 days of sale date.If you need more time on picking it up,just let me know we can work it out,no problem.All I ask is that you just stay in touch with me.Thanks for looking and bidding!!Thanks for looking and reading my ad. ****** Please read Description FULLY **********..This is a local southern car bought new on 8/19/70 at Fuller Ford in Opelika Al.It has remained within 20 miles of that area since new.Please take the time to look at all photos including the copy of the Marti Report.This is a Real Factory yellow Mach I.It was born with a 351 C and a Automatic trans.This was changed out sometime in the mid 80's,I was told with,a very strong 302 with a  toploader 4 speed out of a 70 Torino.It appears to have been done right.This is a very solid and straight car.It has been off the road since the late 90's stored in a shed.It is NOT drivable as it sits right now!!I have not cleaned or detailed the car other than hose it off and vacuum the interior out.What you see is what you will get.The car has a current 2021 Ala registration in my name.***IMPORTANT***The car is not drivable as it sits,It will crank and run with gas from a can.The motor does sounds good and Healthy.It does NOT smoke,knock or even tick.It is pretty dry with no signs of any major leaks.The clutch works smoothly and 4 speed trans is tight and smooth shifting.I have moved the car forward and backwards under its own power.The 4 brl carb will need a rebuild it wants to flood out and leak gas badly.The gas tank will need cleaning out or replacing due to 30+ year old gas.The brakes are low but will stop the car for loading.It rolls and steers easily. It has power front disc.There is NO rust in the frame rails or shock towers.I replaced the battery tray and support but there was no other rust around it.The hood is in good shape with only a small spot of rust in the bottom front edge,it is smaller than it appears in the hood photo,it is a easy fix.The rear frame rails are rust free also.The floor pans and rockers look great also.No rust in the torque boxes either.Keep in mind this car has been in the south its whole life.There is some rust in the trunk lid from a mouse nest that was in it.I believe it can be fixed and saved also.A couple of small spots here and there that are also easy fixes.The driver rear lower Quarter is rusted on the outside skin at the bottom I have a very nice older lower patch panel that will come with it.see photos.The doors open and shut good and are pretty solid also.There is some bondo right above the front windshield that is lifting.It is a dent NOT rust, that was repaired a long time ago.Most all the rust areas you see are mainly just surface rust only where the paint has come off.All the glass is in very good shape.Most all the electrics work,including the headlights,tail lights,turn signals,wipers and even the old school pioneer Cassette radio and rear speakers.I also installed a new alternator and a new battery tray.It appears that the car has been repainted once in its life back the original color.Overall the body is very straight and everything still lines up well.The original interior is all there and in decent shape for a 51 year old muscle car.Seats are all in very good shape and sit well.The dash is uncut and I still have the original ford logo Keys and all the locks work.The headliner is still intact but has couple small holes from a mouse.The sail panels are there but need replacing.The Mach I carpet is still decent and usable. The tires are 25+ years old and hold air.They are high tread but badly dryrotted.The rims will clean up nice.I have some extra parts that will come with the car.These include a complete auto console ,Extra trim and Misc items.See last photo.I can only post 24 photos but I took 100 photos.If there is anything else you want to see let me know and I will send you a photo.This is a car you can go a couple ways with.You could have it drivable in a weekend or two and enjoy as is or it would be a great car to do a full restoration on.I prefer the first option personally.I like the Survivor route.
