FOR SALE is my W110 Fintail. I purchased this vehicle from Hill farm automotives of Northamptonshire, in January of 2020 and have had it for a couple of summers, but unfortunately my circumstances have changed and its time for it to go to a new home. The car is in very good condition for it age and comes with a small amount of service history, detailing £3k+ being spent in 2016 for the following; Facing cylinder head and pressure test, new chain tensioner, new belts and hoses, new battery, new master cylinder and caliper and a full service. In 2019, showing a spend of £1.5k, it received new plugs, points and HT leads, 4 new tyres, hoses and brake light switch. It went through an MOT in 2019 showing a few advisories, exhaust box deteoriating ( brand new one included in sale, imported form Germany at a cost of £160), Slight weep from rear diff. (fixed), front coil springs corroding ( not too bad in my opinion) and slight play in steering box.In my ownership, I have replaced all the gear linkage bushings, fitted a one wire GM alternator for upgraded reliability, new battery, fashioned a hidden bluetooth speaker (removable) and accumulated a box of spare parts which are included in the sale. Things to note, the front RH panel has a slight bubble in paint, showing a little surface rust, nothing major and hardly noticeable and the temperature probes line to the gauge has cracked forfeiting indication, replacements are readily available.The car came from a collection of 3 cars, bought from an estate sale, and all the same colour, grey with a cream top, its my opinion that the car had a paint job within the last 3 years or so, which really makes it a head turner. The interior is in great shape for its age and the car starts reliably. An excellent opportunity to acquire an appreciating classic, hardly seen today on the road, in this condition.
