1962 Jaguar 3.8 MK10 Restoration Project. Left Hand Drive.

A very solid and complete Jaguar MK10 only notable parts missing is the spare wheel and the tool kit.

This car has a very solid body with only minimal rusting.  The inner and outer sills along with the jacking points are all good.  Some welding is required to the bottom of the front wings adjacent to the inner sill. Floors are solid as is the boot floor along with the rear wheel arches and rear valance. Front left wing has a minor dent next to the headlight otherwise the body appears to be very straight. All four doors have solid door frames however there is some bubbling in the door skins. 

The interior leather has suffered from heat as the car lived in California for a number of years, the leather is dry and cracking in several places, headlining has dropped and the wood veneer needs restoring.

Mechanically everything is there and we have had the engine running for a short period of time. 

Chrome work is generally straight and in a good condition given the age of the car, all the rubber seals have suffered from excessive heat as they are very hard and perished.  

In short the car requires a full restoration but is a great starting point as the body is so good which will save hundreds of welding hours.
