1986 Porsche 944 951 Turbo - LOW Reserve

Selling my 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo. Always garaged. Military officer stationed in Florida, due to transfer this summer so decided to sell. Looking for a fair price but not trying to get rich. I bought the car two years ago and put a lot of time and money into it.

Car is a very nice example of the 944 Turbo. She isn't a garage queen, but looks great and always turns heads driving up and down US-1. A previous owner had the car repainted from black color into this dark charcoal gray, which was a main reason I bought it. As you can see it looks really sharp. There are a couple very small bubbles on the hood I believe from the clear coat, one is the side of a nickel and the other a little smaller. They are solid to the touch and don't detract from how nice the paint is, but I don't want the buyer to have any surprises. There is no exterior rust and minor surface rust underneath as you would expect from a 35 year old car.

Car is very fast and handles exceptionally well. The turbocharger boost is phenomenal!

Here's some of what I had done:

* New front Recaro bucket seats, drivers seat is electric.

* New stock 944 muffler/exhaust - it sounds as it should

* New Air Conditioning Compressor and converted to R-134; blows cold

* New Blaupunkt stereo with CD and blue tooth and Blaupunkt speakers

* Odometer gear was broken when I bought it, so odometer was working only sporadically. I had the gear replaced.

* New battery

* New wipers, front and rear

* New engine air filter and breather filter

Car works as it should including sunroof.

Again I'm disclosing everything so there are no surprises. There are some minor issues that would be easy to repair but I never got to them because they didn't affect the performance:

* Hood light doesn't work

* Windshield fluid spray doesn't work, but wipers work as designed

* There's a one second squeak on start up, possibly from a belt, but I've never had any issues with it other than heading the squeak on start-up

* Turn signals don't cancel automatically so you have to flip the lever up/down after you turn.

* Because the odometer was working sporadically when I bought it, actual mileage is a little higher than 89K, but not much.
