This is my 89 Alfa Romeo Sipder i picked up a few months ago.   I originally bought it thinking it had motor issues and all kinds of problems.  My plan was to do a engine swap and build something crazy with it.  When I picked it up and threw a battery in it started right up.  No hiccups no sputtering.  Drove it 60 miles home with out a single issue.   Drove fine the 110 miles the next day.  After a deep clean,  oil change, new plugs, rebalanced tires and a starter relay it has been  very consistently problem free for the 700 miles or so I've driven it.   Started just fine yesterday when the temps outside was in the mid 30's,  heater worked fine kept me pretty toasty.  So that is my brief history with the car.Previous owner bought it 3 years ago just to have a convertible.   He drove it for a bit then parked it.   It pretty much sat in his back yard for 2 years until i bought it.Before that all I know is it was bought in the Portland/Seattle area and it is a Canadian spec car.  The only real difference I can tell from a US spec car is the speedometer and odometer are in kilometers instead of miles.  So the 146k km is around  90k miles.   Could be a few slight ones I don't know. The good:Manual car.  Manual windows and lock.No factory a/c,  a good and bad thing I guess.Runs greatStarts great every timeGood tires Almost Complete  (missing a couple original parts :factory radio, factory shift knob, corner reflector lens)No RUST.  The common rust spots are in decent shape.  Cleans up pretty good.  Looks great from 50 feet.Battery disconnect for when in storage.Has the sump gaurd.Suspension is firm.  Lights all work. The bad:The major one is the clear coat is faded bad in spots.  Mostly the upper surfaces.  Slight damage to the drivers rear fender.  Looks like someone rubbed up against something.  The previous owner did started some repair work but didn't finish.Ding on the front tip,  Backed into maybe?Other little dings on the body.Interior needs a bit of work.  It is not terrible but need work.   Drivers seat pad is getting worn.  The leather is fine just the pad itself.  Drivers door cubbie pocket is broken off.  It is in the trunk.  Drivers sun visor is also in the trunk.  The passenger side one wont stay up when the top is down so I understand why it was removed.Tear in back window.  The canvas top is good.  No rips or tears just in the plastic window.2 clips are broken on the cover for the top when it is down.   Still works just fine if you use it2 cracks in the dash between the windshield and defrost vents.   Couple gauges don't work.  When I first bought it only the tac and speedometer worked.  After cleaning connections I got the gas and temp gauges to work.  The voltmeter and oil pressure still don't work.  I did check the oil pressure with a separate gauge just to be on the safe side.  It looks like there is alot wrong but really there is not.  Just being as honest as I can be.  The main thing is it runs great most issues are just cosmetic.
