I have owned this car for over 17 years, and it is time to pass it on to a new owner to enjoy.  It has only been driven by an adult driver in the best weather, and kept in a garage when not in use. The black soft top is not shown in the pictures, but it is like new - no signs of wear.  You can see from the pictures that there are virtually no signs of wear anywhere on the car.  No scratches, scrapes, dings, or marks of any kind on the exterior.  No rips, tears, or marks of any kind on the interior too.  It has the 300 HP 327 CI engine with a 4-speed on the floor.  Before I bought the car I did some research on the 327 and 427 CI engine choices.  Without a doubt, the 327 CI engine was much more reliable and easier to maintain.  I have found that to be true.  This 327 has a mellow rumble, much like a 427.  So if sound is what you're looking for, then don't discount this car.  The stock AM/FM radio from 1966 of course leaves something to be desired.  I never turn on the radio as the sound coming from the exhaust is addictive.Almost everything on the car is like it just came from the factory.  There have been no customizations done, except for a rear-view mirror added to the outside of the passenger side door.  It has been regularly maintained by Carr's Corvettes in Plano, Texas for as long as I have owned it.  They are the best Corvette shop in North Texas, by far. I have many more pictures; so if you want a specific view, let me know and I can send it to you.  This car needs nothing.  It is ready to be driven and shown for many years in the future.  I will include with the car the trophies it has won at local car shows.  This Corvette is Sunfire Yellow with a black interior and black top.  The price I am asking is thousands less than the average price for this condition car on NADA, Hagerty, and American Collector Insurance.  Those are the sites I found that list the suggested sale price for an "Excellent" 1966 Corvette convertible.  There is one higher condition category which is called "Show", and I didn't use that as this is not a 100 point concours trailer queen.  I cannot guarantee that every nut and bolt is original, but most people of course are not concerned about that.  They just want a special car they can show off to family, friends, and enthusiasts at car shows. This classic is meant to be driven with the top down in only the best of weather conditions.  My hopes are that the new owner will keep this car in excellent condition, and will show it whenever possible so others can enjoy it as much as they will.
