Ford Escort Mk2 1600 sport RHD 1980 93685km (58000mls)Here we have a Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport recently imported from South Africa, all taxes and duties paid and a nova is present allowing the vehicle to be UK registered, this is a straight forward process and we will supply a completed form which you send off to DVLA with the SA registration document supplied, when registered the vehicle will be MOT & TAX exempt.Car runs and drives as it should but as with all imports the carbs do need tuning to adjust to our climate.The interior has been recovered and is in good condition with the seats in black and grey with a sport insignia detailed, the door cards and headlining are all good as well, dash top has the usual cracks though.The vehicle is in good condition, looks nice and presentable. Solid inner wings, strut tops, heater bowl and slam panel although wing rails to front have some filler.Drivers side door post may need attention. Some filler evident in door bottoms. The chassis rails are good but the front floors have some period patched repairsFront & rear window screen rubber seals have the incorrect seals in them so could do with changing as look a bit naff.Long range fuel tank alloy wheelsPaint work is good but has been redone some time ago.Overall this is a good car but needs some attention, but perfectly usable as is if you want to get out and enjoy it.Viewing is recommended and can be seen in West Sussex.Deposit is required on close of sale and cash/bank transfer on collection to be carried out within 4 days.don't hesitate to message me with any queries or more pics.sensible offers invited for a quick sale
