This 1982 Porsche 928 has been in Colorado owned by a professional photographer since 1993 and he kept it in a garage at all times. The owner realized he did not have the time to give the car the refresh it deserved as he was getting older. I purchased it in 2017 and started the refresh with my son, but sadly we are moving and I need to sell it.This is fun to drive! V8 with new exhaust that SOUNDS AMAZING. Has a clean title with odometer mileage exempt. Clean CarFax as well! ExteriorThe body is very straight, and from the condition of the underside it is obvious the car spent most of its life in clean and dry storage. I believe the paint is original. However, there is some fading of the paint on the roof and hood.  The nose area has common stone peppering. The passenger side rear quarter has some bubbling in the paint where it meets the trim. Overall the car looks straight and well kept with a nice shine, though on close examination the fading is  obvious. The glass looks to be all original and in excellent shape. . The dial wheels all look good and straight without any serious imperfections.InteriorThe interior has new carpet which I purchased in 2019 from Germany. The interior is indicative of proper storage. The seats are original and though a little worn are still very functional and restorable. The dash does have some lifting towards the passenger side A-pillar, but is still good for a 928. The door panels, headliner and rear seat are all presentable. The sunroof is not operational.Functionality and AccessoriesThe windows currently work though. The flip up headlights function along with all the lights, blinkers, high beams, brake lights and etc work. The wipers, horn, hazard switch, and stereo function properly Most gauges function, but the odometer and fuel gauge do not. The fuse box is clean and dry and does not look like it has suffered like many 928 fuse boxes.Engine BayThe engine bay looks clean and well sorted. The hoses, belts, and clamps are mostly oem. This car has been properly serviced in the past. The proper stickers and factory warnings are present.Trunk AreaThe trunk area is clean and dry. And all the different carpet pieces are accounted for and replaced new. The tool kit is present, though missing a wrench or two. The hatch opens and closes smoothly and the hatch struts hold it in place.UndersideBrand new catalytic converter and custom exhaust make this sound excellent. The underside of the car is very clean and dry. Passed Colorado Emissions test in 2018.MechanicalsThe car starts and sounds like a healthy Porsche 928 V8 with some very good noise from the custom exhaust! The radiator was updated in 2020 with a CSR racing aluminum. The transmission  goes into gears easily. All fluids have been refreshed. The brakes work well, and the suspension feels tight. The tires are matching and have good tread. Like many other 928s this has an parasitic electrical leak when it sits for over 2 weeks it will need a jump, I just keep it on a battery maintainer.Service and parts replaced since I purchased it in 2017 (receipts available):New carpet - $800Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Spark plugs and wires, Window motor, Transmission fluid service $1522.00Catalytic converter custom exhaust - $806.72Brake Master Cylinder, Brake pad sensors, Fuel lines, Banjo Bolt, Battery- $1930.22Total service - $5058.94I purchased it for $4000 in 2017I have invested $9000 total (probably more)Starting bid at $6700.If you are truly interested in the car please contact me and I can send you more photos and videos. Porsche 928s are gaining in value and this is a great opportunity to buy one on a budget. There is no warranty or guarantee of any sort on this car. Please only bid if you are serious and have the funds. And please do not hesitate to ask questions. Good luck bidding!
