This is an '89 Manufactured car (Registered April 1989).

The 1989 run out models had some subtle differences as they transitioned to the 964, these included wider 8" rear wheels as opposed to 7", Actual jacking points on each corner, nicer velour carpet (as per 964), and smaller details around the car. This car also has the factory optioned limited slip differential (220), and shortened gear lever (243).

There is a large ring binder of invoices going back to the 90s showing that the car has always been looked after, either by main Porsche dealers or highly regarded independents. At 67k miles, the car had a mild top end, clutch, and oil pipes. The history also shows the long term ownership of each previous owner. It has just had a minor service, new Dansk exhaust, fan belt and boot/bonnet struts. In the last 300 miles, it had four new tyres (correct Michelin Pilot Sport  N Rated). The wheels in excellent condition, with the correct Satin inners (including centre caps and bolts) and anodised outer rims.

A very original 911 that has not been messed around with. The interior is that of an original cared for car, there are no rips or tears in the dash or door cards, the seats are in amazing condition given their age, they are more matt than shiny, the piping is in excellent condition and has not been replaced/repaired The car is very clean under the carpets, in both the cabin and the front boot area. Everything works correctly, including all the dashboard lights, electrics, and radio.

Being a late model Carrera "Sport Model", it comes with the factory front and rear spoilers and lowered suspension, it also benefits from the later fuse box with less relays, and is more comprehensively galvanised.

The original specification sticker is under the bonnet (which matches the service book) and confirms the spec includes; Blaupunkt Radio Cassette, LSD, Short shifter, 8 Way electric seats left and right, 16" Fuchs Forged wheels, Spoilers front and rear, Sports shock absorbers, High fidelity package (8 speaker), amplifier, as well as all the standard equipment.

Comes with the original leather wallet, the book pack including owner's manual, up to date original service book with 22 entries, the service centres booklet, Porsche assistance booklet, Porsche ownership booklet, the full Blaupunkt book pack with code, installation, instructions, and removal keys.  It also comes with both sets of keys, the alarm fob - fully functioning with central locking.  A full, unused and complete tool kit. Unused spare wheel with original tyre, unused original compressor and unused original jack. It even has the original Merlin Porsche Nottingham number plates.

All the original features are visible, including all the correct stickers, the fuse box lid and diagram is still there. The washer bottle pump hasn't leaked and made a mess or corroded the front compartment. The manual override tool for the sunroof is present, the tell tale nipples on the door shuts are still there. There are no wires hanging down from the dash, the radio works perfectly and clearly with no signs of damage around the surround from removal.  All the rubbers, seals and black trim are in excellent condition.

If you haven't driven a 911 with a G50 gearbox, it is a revelation, it is much more like a modern car, with a very short throw, and very easy to get it in to gear. Night and day difference to the old 915 box. G50 G series 911s were only made for a few years and fitted in the run out models before the 964. They carried on using the G50 box until the late 90s with 993s. This car is a joy to drive, just how you would expect, and it is great fun too!

I would confidently say this is one of the best G50 Coupes for sale, having said that, it is 32 years old, so there are the odd imperfections.
