Only two 1972 F100's exactly like this weremade in 1972! They wereordered on the same DSO, by the same dealership for thesame customer in the Houston area of Texas.

To the bestof my knowledge this is the only one left. The full story of Options orderedis described in the included framed Marti Report.

The truckwas driven from Texas to Ohio in 2009 when I purchased it. The original 360 cu in engine was pretty tired and the Transmission shifted whenever it wanted to, so they were replaced with a recently, (asof 2011) factory rebuilt 1968 335 HP 390 GT and matching transmission. Needless tosay, It changed the personality of the truck instantly!    It is Great fun to drive!!

From thatpoint on every part of the truck was inspected and replaced orrepaired - Brakes, cooling system, rear axle, all Wheel bearings, steering gear, etc.  The Body and bed were completely "gone over" and all dents, dings, etc were smoothed out.

Only a tiny bit of rust was found in the Driver side doorcorners and the driver side floor. All was repaired with new metal.

All exterior was refinished with Base coat/Clear coat RAVEN BLACK, the Original special ordered paint color. Black was not offered as a standard color in 1972!

The bed ispainted in the same color as the body.

The floor of the bed is also coated with Black Rustoleum for added protection and a Summit Racing heavy mat provides additional protection.There is no rust on the bed - very solid.

Covering the bed is a White Tonneau Cover that was a 1972 Ford over-the-Counter Dealer installed Cover. This is an extremely rare item!You will also get the original Box for this cover (with Ford Part number) I found it NIB in Australia!

All switches on Lower Dashboard - Ignition, wipers, cargo light, heater,Etc., were replaced with new units.

Radio is a Custom Autosound 4 speaker (2 operational) with access to a USP in the glove box. You can store many hundreds of song titles. Instruction  book and box are included. Radio looks like a stock Ford AM Radio when turned off. 

Almost all interior lights have been converted to LED. 

Dash instrument panel has been replaced and the speedometer back ground has been changed to white, making a remarkable easy to see difference.

The odometer was broken and showed 19,778 (119,778) In 2014, it was replaced with a zeroed out unit and now reads about 1,500 miles.

A Summit Racing Tilt steering column has been installed - Steering wheel is Walnut rimmed three spoke.

The floorshifter was recently professionally installed and is from LOKAR. Thisworks very well, is sturdy and very positive!

 The suspension was thoroughly gone over andall steering linkage was replaced as well as new king pins and seals.

New shocks-  Gas shocks on the front and heavy duty air shocks in the rear. The fill for the air shocks is located in the lower drivers side rear license plate bolt hole, and is handy, but hardly noticeable.

 In keeping the truck all Ford, the wheels are15X8 from a 1981 4x4 F150. Tires are 235/75Rx15 All Season radials. The ride isvery quiet and very smooth.

 Just about every piece of exterior trim -including front and rear bumpers - was replaced. Using NOS parts whenever available, and side trim from either LMC or NPD. The side trim has a few dings and dents from some inconsiderate cruisers at various Car cruising events.

 The only bodywork needed is the rear edge of the hood. There was a failure of the Original hood latch which has since been replaced.

I have owned this truck for 12 years. During that time I have only driven about 1500 or so miles to local shows, maintenance, and for repairs/restoration.

I consider this truck to be about 90% finished. There are still some items that need attention, however there is nothing major.

It is ready for cruising right now and with a little effort, it will be ready for formal Car Shows!

along witha torn rotator cuff have made my right arm almost useless.

At 79 years old,  the Doc says "It A'int Gonna get better".

So it is time to let someone else that can work on it, have it, and really enjoy it.
