This is my 1981 MK5 Cortina Estate in the wonderful 'Hearing Aid Beige'It has MOT until September 2022 and is absolutely solid. Recently had two small pieces of welding to the floor but otherwise in excellent structural condition.Just had brand new front shocks fitted and a new clutch cable.The interior is mint. I have had a period radio fitted with an aux cable to enable you to play your 80's tunes. It does however need a new speaker.This car has had only 2 previous owners to me and currently has 86,700 miles on the clock but I use it every week so will go up slightly.It drives really well. The 1.6 Pinto revs perfectly and it keeps up nicely with modern traffic with a smooth drive for a 4 speed.Check out the photos. As I said the car is totally solid and only has some light surface rust to the paintwork. It looks great polished but at some point could do with a respray.The car is a genuine head turner.From 1st April next year it will be Tax and MOT exempt as an Historic vehicle.Car comes with plenty of spares including another rust free tailgate. Also have extra mirrors, overiders, spotlights, chrome trim for windscreens and original standard Wheels all included. I am looking for as close to £5K as possible which I believe is very reasonable since this car will only ever increase in value.I am based just outside of Chelmsford CM3 in Essex and happy for you to come and look before bidding.
