1965 mk1 Ford cortina 1600 crossflow British made rare 2 door

Welcome to my auction of this rare beauty.

Being 56yrs old this old girl really is in excellent original condition for her age.

Rot free and only slight surface rust as you can see in pictures, but nothing to worry about.

When the carpets are lifted and in boot all totally solid unlike other cars of this age.

Underneath it's has had a three part underseal process 2years ago and again is totally solid.

Engine fires up straight away with no issues, I have a cold start video when pulling out the garage yesterday on request through WhatsApp

My mechanic changed the engine oil and filters

And gearbox oil when 2 years ago and has done about 20miles since.

Gearbox performs perfectly and engine runs like a sewing machine.

She has being in my ownership it has always been stored in a dry warm garage.

Interior is totally original and in excellent condition with only 1 slight Frey on the front drivers seat, headlining is I great condition with only 1 small tear above driver seat 4” long.

But overall very clean and original.

Being unrestored this car is ready for paint with no rot on the outside just a rub down.

Bad points 

Needs new choke cable fitted 

Have parts 

Needs brakes bleeding, I think air lock , bit spongy but stops ok.

Needs new rubber seals around windscreen and rear screen perished from age.

Windows are ok.

Overall amazing car just haven't got the time to finish someone is going to get a piece of British motoring history, that's going up in value by the year.
