1979 Mini Special 1100. 20th Anniversary model. the first ever special edition minis and the only one to feature he 1100cc engine from the factory. This car has covered just 47. 00 mls from new and was fully restored to show standard in 2009 by old school minis. the car was stripped o a bare shell and fully restored. it is painted underneath with powder coated sub frames etc. The car has full history. the original service book and Leyland passport to service. lots of old mot's stretching back to the early 90's and a huge photographic file detailing the extensive restoration. there are also invoices for many thousands of pounds spent. Not only was the bodywork meticulously re-built the entire mechanicals also received the same attention. the engine was fully re-built and detailed. Since 2009 the car has been used for pleasure use and trips to shows etc. it is still immaculate and with a little detailing/ cleaning would be a real show stopper. The only real fault is that the rear bumper has a twist and ideally could do with replacement. it is mot'd until October 2014. We have set a very reasonable reserve. it is here to sell. The winning bidder must pay £250 deposit as soon as the auction finishes. no bidders with less than 20 positive feedback unless we are contacted first either on 07971-845395 or by email.
