1960 Ford Anglia 105E with period upgrades.
Having never owned an Anglia until a few months ago. I now find myself in the position of owning two. One has to go. and after lengthy consideration this is the one for the chop.
My Anglia saga started as a result of a planned trip to Italy. following in the footsteps of a trip my parents made in the mid 60's. I found  a beautiful restored example which blew up on the way home! Before I knew it this came on the market with all of the period modifications. making for a quicker. better handling car. It was duly purchased. However. my loyalties lie with the stock car. having fitted a new engine. My Old Man never benefitted from upgrades. so neither will I.
This little Anglia has been restored over the last two years. having been owned by the original owner for some 50 years. It benefits from the following upgrades:
Mk 1 Cortina 1500 GT Engine2000E GearboxGenuine Dunlop D1 AlloysNew Bridgestone TyresFront Disc Brake ConversionSpax Rear Shocks.
The bodywork and paint are excellent. and the underside of the car is exemplary. She is all good to go. with 12 months MOT. The chrome side stripes and front bumper come with the car. as does the headlining which needs to be refitted. The interior is as original. with new carpets fitted. Its worth remembering that were you to restore an Anglia and fit the upgrades as fitted to this car. you could well be into big money.
