Vehicle Details

1956 Chevrolet 3100 Deluxe Pick Up 2 wheel drive. This truck was fully restored in 2011 and the details are as follows. About 500 miles on the truck since the restoration was finished. Body and frame stripped to bare metal, any rust and rot on body was professionally repaired with new panels and fully welded in as factory. Frame had no rot. Body was professionally prepared and painted in 2 stage paint, frame was painted with chassis black paint. All new body and door seals New front and rear glass with all new gaskets. Refurbished original side glass with all new rubber and gaskets. Interior is completely redone and all gauges and instruments work as they should. Bed wood is fully restored and varnished. Professionally rebuilt 235ci (non matching #s) with 3 speed on the column. Rebuilt carb and generator all new fuel lines. Engine is very clean and detailed. All suspension parts have been sandblasted rebuilt and painted chassis black. All new bushings where applicable. Rear end is fully rebuilt with new 3.38 gears. 4 wheel (non power) drum brakes are all new including lines, master cyl. etc.. Tires are new, wheels have been sandblasted and repainted body color. Truck will need a full exhaust from the manifold back and I will supply a new factory style muffler and stainless tubing to do the job. Current exhaust is ugly but is quiet. Truck has been restored right, runs and drives as it should and needs nothing other than the exhaust if you choose to do it. All parts were restored or replaced with quality original or reproduction when original was not available. Have pictures of most all parts of the restoration to go with the truck.
