1937 Packard boat tail Replica. This is replica car created years ago by a elderly gentleman. He took a original 37 Packard touring car and created his own version of a Auburn boat tail speedster. It still sit on the original 37 Packard chassis with the original main body. He took a 37 Cadillac front end and molded that to the 37 Packard main body and dash. He then used other period correct body parts to create his version of the boat tail speedster in the rear section.The dash and instruments are still the original 37 Packard and everything is operational and working. The engine is a low mileage 1950s straight 8 Pontiac with a manual 3 speed transmission with a floor shifter conversion. The motor runs great with plenty of torque. Everything on the chassis is still the original 37 Packard. The car runs and drives great but the front fenders need fender bracing to make them more stable. The car obviously is one of a kind and a real head turner. It obviously needs to be finished to be really road worthy but has a lot of potential. The car sits on the 139" wheelbase and measures about 17' 8" in length. I have a 1937 Packard clear Ohio title for the car in my name.
