Vehicle Details

1971 Chevrolet C-10 long bed. 50 years old this year. Lowered the correct way. 402 big block. 700R overdrive transmission. Power steering. Power brakes. Working air conditioner (need freon charge of course). Sounds great. Runs strong. Not what I would consider a race truck, but do not recommend a teenage driver as this truck will go sideways in a hurry when punched even when driving at lower speeds. Truck does have some rust, but mostly surface rust versus the severe rust through that most of these trucks have. Truck has minor dents, mismatched paint, etc. Hood and rear sill are in primer. Lt rocker has been replaced and is in primer. Appears right rocker was replaced at an earlier time and is in slightly too far which would probably go unnoticed to most people. I have a new right rocker and some other parts that I will pass along. Floor seems to be solid with only superficial surface rust. Truck needs paint and body work including panel alignment. Recent work includes new carb was adjusted, new distributor timing set, and solid lifters were lashed among other work that was performed. Previous owner gave me a list that I included in photos. Truck has a trailer hitch. All information is to the best of my knowledge. I am probably making it sound terrible, but I just do not want to set any unrealistic expectations. This is obviously no where near a show truck, but it is a very nice sold truck that is a great start to be an awesome truck with some tlc. This truck gets a lot of attention. Nobody is looking at the new overpriced jacked up truck with a ton of money dumped into it when this 71 is sitting next to it at the traffic light. Hard to beat the sound of a descent cam. If you're looking for a nice C10 that is not in the show truck realm, you found it. Don't miss this one.
