I am listing this for a friend, and it is one of the nicest 55's I have seen personally. This car came to him(the present owner), with a stock 265 engine and power glide transmission and had already become a frame off restored car prior to his purchasing it(see pictures of the bottom side). . The fit and finish of the car, as well as the interior are just excellent, and show the prior owners desire to have not just a nice car, but a super nice car.  Feeling the performance was lacking a bit, he had a 350 engine rebuilt, including a mild cam and installed. A turbo hydro was also rebuilt and installed at the same time.  A modern set of gauges seemed like a good choice to freshen up the dash, and disc brakes were added to the front to update stopping power. The odometer reading represents miles driven since the updating took place. He and I are available to answer questions, and show the car with some advanced notice. There will be no warranty of any kind, as with all classic type cars. Pick up and or shipping of the car will be the responsibility of the new owner.
