Up for sale is our left hand drive 1969 Jaguar XKE Series 2 manual 2 plus 2 coupe. This Jag has a great color combination of silver exterior and dark blue interior. Little rust, hard to find E types in this kind of condition. A heritage certificate is also included.

The exterior paint on the car appears to be a single re-spray of the original color silver. The paint thickness on the body (5-9 mils) is only marginally thicker than the door sills and firewall (2-5 mils) which appear to be original. Some measurements are in the description pictures. The 4.2 Liter engine has been disassembled, but the original stamping (7R37664-9) can be seen on the edge of the block flange where the gearbox bellhousing meets up. The gearbox that mates to the engine is a 2 plus 2 manual transmission and also bears the original numbers (KJS1923). The body is in rare excellent condition for a project. There is minimal rust that can be seen in the cars boot (trunk). The complete bonnet is very straight and does not show signs of collision. Further investigation of the nearly perfect frame rails supports this claim. The matching VIN (P1R42061) stamps can be found on the front-right-top section of the picture frame. The doors and rear hatch are in excellent condition with original Triplex-Sundym glass. The body tag 4R36912 can be found at the rear license plate section. The interior pieces all seem to be there and appear to be in driver quality condition: carpet, vinyl, leather, dash, headliner, etc. All of the instruments and gauges are fixed to the dash, but have not been tested. The windshield is the only piece of glass that is not the original Triplex. Another cool factory option is the air conditioning unit that comes with this E. Looks like I missed the picture of the cooler on the front of the radiator, but it is there. As far as complete projects go, you don't find E types in this condition. The price is $25k OBO.
