Here we have the reluctant sale of our Mk2 Ford Cortina 1600E. We inherited the car from a family friend a few years ago and due to lack of use unfortunately the time has come for us to sell.The car runs and drives but is in need of a good service to be at its best. It has been dry stored or garaged for most of its life. It has done just over 79,500 miles since new. V5 Log Book is present. Spare wheel and jack in boot. Metallic green paint. Original wheels. Black leather seats. Original interior. All door cards are in tact, rear seats and passenger seat all in great condition. Dash complete with functional controls and in great condition. Photos show as much detail of pros and cons as possible, more are available if requested but only able to upload 12 to the listing.Con's: Needs 4 new tyres, exhaust needs replacing, drivers seat and drivers footwell carpet are both past their best. Despite being in one piece, the engine bay is untidy and may require some attention if preferred. Choke cable snapped so poor to start from cold.Although we love the car, we have several other projects which require our attention as well so we simply don't get the use out of it that it deserves. With that in mind we have been unable to keep up with the jobs listed above so it has been stored indoors and largely unused for the duration of our ownership, particularly in the last couple of years.Car listed for sale elsewhere so auction could be ended at any point.
