This 1972 Chevy C10 SWB has received the following upgrades and improvements

Drivetrain

·     383 Stoker motor with aluminum heads backed by a TH400 automatic transmission. Motor and transmission miles are unknown. Jim has put ruffly 500-600 miles on the drive train since ownership in the last 5 years.

·     Edlebrock Carb 1402 600 CFM

·     New Gas tank relocated to rear of truck with new lines and filled/blended in stock gas cap hole on cab

·     Master cylinder in chrome & booster for 4-wheel disc brakes

·     Vintage Air and Heat

·     Chrome Dress up kit for motor – Value Cover, Air Cleaner, Alternator,

·     4 Core Aluminum Rad and Chrome Shroud

  ·     Battery is New, with power & ground cables

·     12 Bolt Rear end with 3.73 gears

·     Additionally, the truck received many small new parts under the hood such as MSD cap, spark plug and wires, oil cap, breather, upper and lower radiator hoses, Radiator Cap 8psi, one piece drive shaft and the list go on and on

This truck starts, drives, and stops as it should. Has a good loopy cam sound. Please view videos of start up to running. Absolute blast to drive! Jim had the truck serviced on a couple occasions for a transmission leak. This leak was fixed from the speedo cable into the transmission but does still have a mild slow leak.

Suspension / Frame / Brakes / Wheels

·     Truck sits on a 2” lowering spring in front and 1” lowering spring in the rear that gives it a mild aggressive look. Has new CPP shocks in the rear. Has newer shocks in the front. Spindles were replaced by a previous owner, and it is a 5 lug 5x5 set up as it came that way in '72

·     All ball joints are in good condition as well as the inner and outer tie rods. Pitman arm and steering components are in good working condition

·     The Wheels are US Mags 22x9.5 in rear & 20x8.5 in front with 285/45R22 tires in rear and 275/45R20 in front. It's a great aggressive staggered wheel set up.

The frame of this truck was cleaned and painted black some time ago by a previous owner as well as the underside of the cab was coated. Very clean and ready to drive in rain or shine with no worries of rust or corrosion build up. Cab and Radiator bushings are all in good shape. This truck has been driven many times up to 80 miles round trip locally.

Exterior

·     This C10 was an original orange truck that was painted a Metallic Grey base coat clear coat. Interior, inside bed, under side of hood, fire wall, core support, wheel tubs were all painted the same color.

·     It still retains its original front grille that does have some marking on it. Glass is in all good condition free of stains or cracks, Door handles do have mild wear and staining on the top side. Mirrors are free of cracks or staining.

·     Truck has one rust bubble on the passenger front side of upper rocker.

·     Weather stripping is in all good condition

·     All 4 side marker lights do work

The Paint on this truck shows exceptionally well as you can see by looking at the pictures and videos. I have taken a lot of pictures of the exterior of the truck and point out in the videos the few nicks and marks on the exterior and the passenger rocker that has chips in paint from the seat belt getting closed on it. Both windows roll up and down with ease. The doors open and close as they should. Vent windows open and close as they should. Tailgate open and closes as it should. The hood opens and closes as it should.

Interior

·     Steering wheel & adapter

·    Rear view mirror and new dome light

·     Newer Grey Auto style Loop Carpet

·     Newer Seat upholstered

·     Newer Gas/Brake/E-Brake pads with trim

·     Door Panels and arms rest show mild wear

·     Newer Dash pad, visors, and hardware

·     Has Lap style seat belts

·     Newer Hands-free Bluetooth stereo that is not hooked up. Comes with a under seat sub box with Rockford Subs

·     Completely rebuilt stock gauge cluster

·     Newer Upgraded Vintage Air AC/Heat

·     All Gauges work on dash and all lights work on truck, Front head light & Turn Singles, rear & side markers along with the dome and dash lights

The Interior of the C10 is very well put together from the Grey Metallic paint to black interior. Everything from the gauge cluster, seat, trim, knobs, stereo & carpet, everything has a great flow and matches.

The owner Jim is 4th owner on this truck with 85k actual original verifiable miles on the body that can be driven and shown anywhere with pride and confidence. This truck has been built correctly and interested bidders should have full confidence that they will be receiving an amazing truck that will be enjoyed and will hold up for many years to come.  This is not your typical eBay “Patina,” “Show,” or “Shop Truck” that you will see elsewhere.  This is a one of those opportunities to own a reliable short bed C10 truck that has all the pictures and receipts to back it up. I have included quite a few detailed pictures below but have over 90 more photos of the truck from every angle, setting, and time of day that I can provide to any interested bidders if needed.  I appreciate you taking the time to look at the beautiful C10. Good luck and happy bidding!

I'm sure I've left out some details of new parts and extensive work that has been done on the beautiful truck so please feel free to call me. (480) 284-9697

Shipping / Delivery / Drive it Home

I will work with both local United States and International customers for any shipping and delivery needs.  Shipping and Delivery of this vehicle will be the full responsibility and cost of the winning bidder.  Arrangements for shipping of the vehicle should be done by the buyer, however I will be more than happy to help schedule and recommend safe transit of your new vehicle to you by open or enclosed trailer. If you would like to fly in, I can arrange pickup at the airport for you and I'd be happy to see you drive this truck home.
