Range Rover CSK for sale serial number 008

Here we have a Range  Rover classic CSK 3.9 auto one of only 200. Presentation box and letter from Land Rover dashboard placket present

Its had a lot of restoration work already completed .inner wings A posts body front lower body hangers inner & outer sills body mounts boot floor and side all welded in and sealed with frosts products then in 2k paint...new brake callipers disks pads all round. Braided lines. adwest steering box. new exhaust, aluminium tail gate .new old stock front bumper. new spark plugs. battery few weeks old 

It has been repainted but needs some polishing to remove overspray and orange peal. i have cleaned up bumpers and given it a ceramic polish 

It does look well nice but it could have been better..

Work to do original headlining is missing. it was water damaged while in storage.  I have a brand new in box £500 fibre glass head liner to go with the car. it was custom made by https://www.famousfour.co.uk/ unfortunately its grey and not original fabric colour as there was no stock. also sunroof won't open so makes fitting headliner hard to impossible 

 seats all very good condition no tears or burns 

The engine numbers matching engine has got a lifter/camshaft noise after a snapped rocker shaft Years ago. although it ran like this for a good couple of years with no problem.

it is also ticking over slightly high 1200 rpm or so revs and smoking grey from cold it clears up when starts getting up to temp . gearbox automatic works as it should.

This really needs a good service as all oils are old came off the road in 2012

it will be cleaned and ready for inspection 

We are the second owner on log book. and know the first owner well 

Runs and drives stops abs light is on belts missing in engine bay aircon and alternator 

Main vin plate missing under bonnet one. Chassis stamp was used last mot on chassis leg. reproductions vin plates are available on line or from Land Rover 

few minor trim parts required i.e. rear seat box lock cover, cubby box lid, 

delivery can be arranged from this end at a reasonable cost
