1968 Ford Mustang

This is a beautiful example of 1968 Mustang  that was completely restored a few years ago.  The Mustang drives great, looks great, and the attention it gets is extreme! This Mustang is a great investment and a fun car to drive and enjoy. From the engine compartment to the trunk and everywhere in between, this is a clean car. This is a nice example of a driver / local show car.

The following will be a description of each area of the car, being as in-depth and accurate as possible.

Solid 1968 Mustang Coupe

As you can see from the photos, this 1968 Mustang  has a very nice body.  The car was professionally painted and restored.   The deep red looks great with the pearl finish and ghost flames.  The underside is solid, with great frame rails, strong torque boxes and undercarriage.  The panels on this car show a nice fit and are straight.  The floor pans appear to be original.  I saw one small rust thru spot located under the rear seat located by the shock mount.  The paint has bubbled on the drivers windshield piller.   There are paint bubbling spots on the front lower door corners.  There is the usual rust on the engine inner panels. The body lines are fantastic as seen in the pictures.  A front and rear spoiler along with side exhaust has been added to give the car an old school look.

The interior is also professionally restored, with new soft trim including:      

 Seat Upholstery 

 Carpet

Dash Pad

Door Panels

New Gauge Panel

The stiching on the drivers seat has separated.

The Ford small block engine is powerful and responsive. 

The automatic transmission shifts as it should  - no issues.  

The car runs strong and fast.

Power Steering

This Mustang runs strong and smooth.  The car has good steering response and a nice ride. The transmission shifts very responsive and smooth.  Front drum brakes and rear drum brakes.   

The car has that nice sound with the new functional side exhaust.

The trunk area is clean and rust free.  No issues here, the pictures of the car speak for themselves.

The successful winning bidder must contact me within 3 hours of auction completion to verify the purchase and finalize the arrangements to complete the transaction.  Please include your phone number in the e-mail for contact information. I would like a $1000 deposit by paypal within 12 hours. Balance is due (bank wire transfer only) within 3 banking day of auction end. The car will not be released until all funds have cleared my bank. The car will be securely garaged until pickup.

I am located 10 miles north of the Salt Lake City, Utah Airport (SLC).

If the winning bidder chooses to transport the car, I can certainly help with logistics (drop off, etc) although all shipping arrangements and transport cost is the responsibility of the winning bidder.
