1974 F350 Super Camper Special, she is the only example of the great lengths Ford went to make a safer slide in camper truck. They took a standard 133" WB truck with an 8' bed and pushed the rear wheels back 7" for better load carrying capability. This required a custom 8' bed, complete with a removable spare tire cover on the passenger side and a heavy duty Dana 70 rear axle.
