Welcome to my original 1978 Mini Clubman. The age of this vehicle makes it TAX and MOT exempt. This car is not only a car to me, but a member of the family. It's accompanied me all over the country, down through France and beyond. But sadly, it's time for this relationship to come to an end, as I need to sell the Mini to raise funds to go traveling. I have had this Mini for 10 years and In those 10 years, I have converted to manual transmission and MG Metro-spec 1275 engine which serves up a robust 72bhp (as opposed to the 62bhp made by the regular Mini 1275 A-Series), Engine number is 12HF01100742 Front subframe has been Zink coated and powder coated with a 60 year guarantee. Front suspension is fully adjustable with high lows and all suspension arms. upgraded the 7.5” disc brake up front and a modern CD/radio head unit has been fitted beneath the dash, with 6x9 speakers in a panel in the rear footwell, The V5 is present, and there's also a substantial collection  of invoices and receipts for parts purchased from specialists over recent years. I also have documentary evidence of the only body panel that's ever been replaced, when the front nearside wing was fitted in 2006 sadly when they installed the wing not much underseal or wax oil was used and now as a small rust hole in the top nothing major but being as honest as I can be.Onto the interior, the seat fabric has perhaps seen better days with the bases of the both from seats, the upper sections of the rear bench seats have succumbed to 42 years of wear. However, originality is key here with the front seats both tilting forward for easy access to the rear and seat cushion still being supportive. Inside, you will find the original brown carpets which are in good order throughout. Now covered with a recent sets of mats for added protection. The original instrument cluster are present and functional and have been augmented by an additional rev counter to the left of the binnacle. The steering wheel is unworn, there are no cracks in the dash-top and the gear knob has been replaced with a wood BMC item. Both door cards are in impeccable condition, the headlining is not A1, but it's certainly not in bad condition considering the age of the vehicle. As one might expect from all factory bodywork, there are few age-related marks and wear here and there. Most notably some paint blisters along the front valance, some paint has flaked away along the lower edges of the sills and a small ding on the leading edge of the roof with a minor scratch on the boot lid. As you can see from the above, this vehicle has been incredibly taken care off and it does really mean a lot to me, but it's time to let go and allow somebody else to enjoy this vehicle as much as I have over the last 10 years. If the new owner wanted this vehicle how it left the factory I do have all the original parts. Automatic engine, automatic subframe that has been Zink coated and power coated as well. Also the gear selector, old drum brakes with hubs, and the UJ drive shafts. They will be on another listing please have a look and if you wanted to put a deal together we could discuss that.Any question's please feel free to message me I will get back to you as soon as i can or if you would like any more photos or videos I can send them to you on watts app. Thanks for you time reading the listing happy bidding.
