Ford escort Series one rs turbo

I am selling my Ford escort series 1 rs turbo custom

I had purchased this out of a huge collection of classic fords from up north a while back now and only selling it as I keep it locked in a friends garage and never have time to use it.

It is on a C reg with the clocks showing 44048.

I have tonnes of paper work in a file from previous owner including all the original old mot certificates.

The mileage shown on the clocks could only describe it as gone around once based on the mot's but that would have been on the old original mfi setup.

As you can see from the pictures the car is now a 2.1zvh fully forged efi setup with the work being carried out by the guru back in these cars time Ahmed bayjoo. If you know much about these old fords you would know exactly who that man was. It is very fast and abit of a handful. It pulls like a steam train and utterly relentless just wants to keep going and going.

Interior -

As you can see from the photos this interior is not like any other. It is possibly the best interior I have ever seen on an rs turbo. The seats and door cards front and rear had been trimmed by Range Rover using their leather as you can see by the detail it is second to none, it really has to be seen to appreciate the time and

Art that has gone into this interior. The 4 spoke rs optional extra steering wheel had also been re trimmed to match.

There are some cracks in the top of the dash which is very common on these dashes.

Exterior -

The exterior and paint on this car is still in great condition. sat on Ford option rs7 diamond cut 17” alloys. The underside of the car is painted with white raptor.

I want to be as honest as possible, so would like to say that there are a few signs of rust appearing. There is a tiny pin hole at the bottom corner of the windscreen passenger side. On the passenger door there are about 3 little bubbles appearing roughly where the decal is so hard to notice unless you really look. The body kit had been filled and painted on, which personally I'm not a fan of but apparently it was what some done back in the day and would have been the owner at the times choice.

This truly is a fantastic car and has to be seen to fully appreciated. I wanted to be as honest as possible about the car and any questions please feel free to ask.
