Up for sale located in central Massachusetts 1987 GMC Sierra classic v30 3500 1 ton 454 big block

California truck most of its life, I bought out of California approximately 2 years ago. I own a small restoration shop specializing in square bodies, specifically k30/v30 1-ton big block trucks, located in central Massachusetts.Being a GMC it is far rarer than a Chevrolet to be found with such options as factory 454 Big block air conditioning tilt steering column etc..Some of the pictures are from a couple of weeks ago before I reinstalled a reproduction molding kit and wheel well opening trim. Just a matter of personal preference, looks good both ways but as you can see by the picture of my other trucks I am preferent to the chrome trim.. it wears its original shade of w8555 black. This truck is solid as a rock has never had rust issues or any previous rust repair. It is a factory black truck,  The paint is an 8 out of 10 , there are a few blemishes as with any older paint job, but it presents very well.

The truck is TurnKey needs absolutely nothing I would not hesitate to drive the truck across the country tomorrow..,  both fuel tanks and fuel gauges work as they should.Truck has a top of the line 4-in ORD lift kit , and believe me when I tell you you get what you pay for.. this truck rides like a Cadillac... The lift kit has fully greasable pins in the spring eyelets and shackles, no blocks or BS .. all spring lift with tall aluminum shocks that helps settle the ride.

Mechanically the truck has been gone through front to back body was off of the frame within the last 7K miles to check over and go through every mechanical system on the truck. No globs or layers of undercoating or spray paint hiding anything underneath the truck.. frame did receive a new coat of paint at one point, presents very well, it is the correct shade of satin black.

New brakes, consisting of rotors ,calipers, pads, braided hoses front and rear, New drums in the rear with new wheel cylinders, shoes , emergency brake cables and all related seals etc.. differentials were gone through and serviced . 4.11 ratio.Off-road design Lift was installed approximately 7K miles ago.  It rides very nice for a lifted one ton truck. At the same time it received new drive shafts front and rear, the front end was completely rebuilt , New kingpins , bearings , u-joints, bushings , seals, and new Warn hubsBrand new 35-in tires and 16-in alloy wheels.

The interior of this truck is in very nice shape, I would rate it 8 out of 10. There are no cracks in dash. Original black paint on dashboard shines well , ashtray and cigarette lighter function as well as all gauges and dash lights. Both fuel tanks and the fuel selector switch work as they should. It has a custom stereo with loud speakers in the factory locations no goofy holes cut in the doors , etc.

The engine and transmission were rebuilt approximately 2 years ago. Does not burn, use up or leak any fluids. The engine retains all of its factory smog equipment including air pump and stainless lines on exhaust manifolds, the only modifications it received was an aluminum edelbrock TBI intake manifold and an aluminum set of valve covers. MSD ignition box was installed inline to give worry free operation compared to the pesky distributor module prone to failure.. I still have the original cast iron intake manifold and black steel valve covers if purchaser would like them. It has a MagnaFlow muffler to give it a little bit of tone but it is not too loud and still has a catalytic converter in place.

All in all this is one of the cleanest v30 trucks I have ever owned, it runs down the road smooth and quiet with no rattles etc.. no check engine lights or mechanical issues, does not leak a single drop of anything.Air conditioning blows cold . The truck retains The factory 4 core metal radiator and auxiliary fan only found on Big block trucks.

Good luck on the opportunity to own this rare collectible truck, Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, I can take pictures of any specific areas you would like to see or inspection in person is encouraged. The truck is located at my shop in Clinton Massachusetts.I can assist with loading truck onto the transporters vehicle of your choice, truck is stored inside a climate controlled secure alarmed building and will stay there until new owner takes possession.$500 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours no exceptions it is expensive and extremely time-consuming to properly list a vehicle.
