These 'Fox Body' cars are rapidly gaining popularity and value, this one is no exception. This car is somewhat of a 'resto-mod' meaning it is mostly original in appearance but has more modern power and suspension. The nice thing is, this is the first year for fuel injection so that is a bonus to have that already done over the carbureted models. Over $10k has been spent on suspension, performance and custom wheels and it's all been done with top-notch parts, all receipts are included, there is also an entire folder of the owners notes, completed tasks and plans for the customization. Upgrades include full Wilwood brakes + rotors, Eibach adjustable suspension, sub-frame reinforcements, shorty headers, BBK 'x-pipe', upgraded urethane bushings, upgraded clutch, upgraded transmission components and on and on and on. This car is a 100% rust free, 2 owner AZ car and comes with floor mats, rear cargo roll-up cover, two sets of keys, original owners books AND the original window sticker that shows it was delivered new here in Phoenix, AZ. I did not build this car but I have all the receipts so if you have any specific questions as far as what parts have been added, gearing, etc please let me know and I'll do my best to find an answer for you, there is literally 'too much to list'.The body of this GT is very straight and the paint is original, you can see the 'patina' in a few spots. If you are looking for perfection, this car is literally one paint job away from being a show-stopper, no bodywork will be needed, no rust to worry about and the bumper covers are free from damage. All lights and lenses are intact and in good working order including the factory fog lamps. Glass is all original, windshield has a couple of chips but no cracks, sides and rears were just tinted a few years ago so they look excellent with no fade, bubbling or peeling. Wheels are excellent, no curb rash, there is just a slight bit of clearcoat peel on the lips of the rears, not overly noticeable and an easy fix. Tires have over 80% tread remaining all the way around and are staggered, slightly wider in the rear. The interior is impeccable, the console arm-rest has a slight split in it and the dash has some light discoloration towards the front portion under the windshield but no cracks or warping, it's pretty remarkable for original. All carpets, seats, headliner and visors are in impeccable original condition. Everything inside is in good working order aside from the bulb in the map light. All illumination, gauges, audio system (did not test cassette), power windows, power locks are functional and the A/C blows ice cold.Mechanically the car is every bit as good as it looks. Engine is smooth and powerful, transmission shifts super tight with a good performance clutch and it holds the freeway with good manners. The nice thing is that even though it has high performance headers, cats and X-pipe, etc. it does not have loud, obnoxious exhaust, it retains the factory style mufflers which sound nice with no 'droning' at freeway speeds. Also noteworthy is that the car has not exhibited any leaks or overheating and there are no warning lights on in the dash.This is a $20k plus car all day, every day. You will not find a fuel injected 'early' Fox Body this clean, in this condition with this nice of a history, a rust free AZ body and over $10k spent in high end upgrades for less. Against my better judgement, I am going to roll the dice and list this car with a $99 opening bid and I'm letting it go to the high bidder at the end of this 7 day NO RESERVE auction. That's right, it will have a new owner next Saturday at 2PM MST regardless of price. I will say this, if the bidding is less than $20k, you are literally stealing this car.
