1961 Oldsmobile Starfire

***NO RESERVE***“This is a ~60 year old car in driver quality condition. Not responsible if I've missed anything.” Up for auction today is a 1961 Oldsmobile Starfire convertible. The car is white, with a white top and blue interior. The car is great mechanically. When we purchased the car, we had a freshly rebuilt transmission installed, and we had the entire front end rebuilt (shocks, bushings, ball joints, etc.). This car drives very nice and straight down the road. even while braking, the car does not pull to either side, and the car starts with ease every time. Within the last ~2 months, we had a brand new “hydro-e-lectric” motor installed for the convertible top. The top works great and can be put up or down in seconds, right from the drivers seat! The top is in good condition with no rips or tears from what I can remember. This car has been re done at some point in its life before our ownership and any rust that may have needed to be addressed appears to have been dealt with,  the most obvious is the drivers floorboard has been patched, but its not a flat panel, the metal used has contours and "ribs" in it, making me think the panel was made specifically for this cars floorboard. I have not seen rust on the car. The interior is in good shape with no tears in the upholstery or carpeting. All the windows work, although some of them need a little assistance getting all the way back up sometimes. as for the exterior, the body is very straight with no major damage that I can remember, just minor stuff that comes along with being a driver.
