 Bodywork & Chassis.

Very solid car throughout, all original body work and in excellent condition with only a very small dint to the driver's side rear door but would be easy repaired, wax oil points around the car which has preserved the car, Boot and bonnet both rust free, the sills, floors, engine bay including bonnet hinges are all excellent condition, chassis is untouched and undersealed and in excellent condition,

 Paintwork

The car has been well looked after and is all original and shines up well and only the small dint as mentioned above,

 Engine & Gearbox

The engine is in perfect working order with no leaks, no rattles and no smoke and has recently had new classic oil and filter replacement, with only 39900 miles this car runs perfect and always starts first time and sounds great with the usual Maxi engine note along with a fully fitted stainless steel exhaust,

The gearbox again is in perfect working order and selects all gears as it should and again has no leaks,

The battery is all good and the tyres are all good,

The clutch has a slight judder when setting off in low gear when the engine is cold but drives all ok and I assume this is the original clutch,

Suspension

The suspension is all ok and leak free and holds it height and does not sag and previously has had some of the units replaced,

Interior

The front and rear seats are all in good condition and the carpets are all present and all clean and in good condition,

The dashboard is all present and in excellent condition with no cracks and still has the MW/LW radio fitted,

All the switches and instruments all work correctly,

Drive

The car drives all ok and is very reliable and is capable of short and long journeys and provides trouble free motoring and is used for regular weekend trips and travel to classic car shows throughout the country,

Summary

All in all a very honest and genuine reliable car that we are only selling due to upgrading our motorhome so requiring extra funds but we are not desperate to sell and will hold out for the right buyer,

The Maxi is in all round very good/excellent condition that requires no work/paint/welding and will be an ideal classic car for the next owner,

The Maxi is garaged all year round and protected from the elements and can be viewed under lighting or during day light hours,

Sold as seen and we would love it to go to an enthusiast that will look after it and garage it to preserve it.  No time wasters please.
